When you think about moving a lot of things come to mind, especially stressful things. Loads of packing for weeks on end, boxes everywhere, multiple trips to and from the new house, thinking you’ve left something behind, last minute cleaning and packing, the list goes on and on! There’s no wonder why they say moving is one of the most stressful things in life that we’d ever go through. So today I’m asking the question, can hiring a man with a van save money when it comes to moving? Let’s look into it.

Even just from the average car perspective, if you think about how much you can actually fit in, it’s not a lot, is it? And it definitely doesn’t include the sofa or any big furniture. Sure you can call in every favour and get your friends and family to help move things with their cars too but you still have the same problem. Not only will you be doing multiple trips, but an average car isn’t the best place to be moving valuable delicate options in. The sheer size of a man with a van and the convenience of having a person to help you move definitely will save money on petrol and afterall, time is money and you’ll definitely be saving time by moving everything in one trip.
Professionals like a Man and a van house move know exactly what they’re doing and how to back their trucks so that everything is handled with care and arrives safely. This is much safer than using the boot of your car and having to ram things into small spaces. An average man with a van removal can fit in around 40 large boxes and that’s including a full house worth of furniture, 2 double beds, a child’s room and so much more!
With doing this for a living, your man with a van will also be able to tell if the furniture is going to fit through the door at your new place or if it needs to go through a window, round the back, or be taken apart. They’ll also probably know how to pop the glass out of windows as that’s a pretty neat skill to have when moving large pieces of furniture around! This again saves money on damaging any doorways whilst trying to fit things into a room. My friend once completely broke his back door by getting a washing machine in!
Overall I would say there are lots of benefits to hiring a man with a van and they definitely save time and money.
